Why Choose Us?

We decided to combine our skills with backgrounds in horticulture, commercial industrial HVAC service, building automation programming to develop, build, and implement sustainable growing systems that can generate produce all year long. We believe that food availability is going to get worse, thus we believe our country needs a better food system. We believe in sustainability, in giving back and not just taking. We are very passionate about making and supplying natural medicine, which may help our customers get off pharmaceutical medicine. Everything is grown in a natural way, either in aquaponics or native soil, under regenerative practices. One of the benefits of growing this way is that our products have more flavor and nutrients than those you can get at a big box store. This is a sign of high nutritional value in the food we produce. We hope you take note in this exceptional flavor and enjoy our products!

Aquaponics Sequence: We start off with about 100 tilapia in an IBC tank, cycle water with aeration into a swirl filter which catches fish waste. That fish waste gets converted from ammonium to nitrite, from nitrite to nitrate, which feeds our plants. The only supplements we need to add to our aquaponics are potassium, iron, and about 10 gallons of water a week. This growing practice is highly efficient. While the fish are creating nutrients we are germinating seed in a dark room, once that process is done we put the trays in our aquaponic baths while running water under the trays feeding our microgreens. While these plants are growing we have a mushroom grow room putting off c02 to feed the plants. The plants soak up the c02 from the mushrooms and produce oxygen to feed our mushrooms. After 9 days grow time, we harvest, sell fresh microgreens. Whatever we have leftover goes into the freeze dryer and made into pills.

Mushroom Sequence: We start off with making substrate and grain bags for the week. Substrate has hardwood and soy hull pellets with water. Once sterilized for 2 hours, we let the bags cool overnight. Further we fire up our hepa/uv/ionizer system in order to sterilize the inoculation room. We take the grain bags and inoculate substrate bags, then we take liquid cultures and inoculate grain bags. Once the substrate bags are covered in mycelium we transfer to the fruiting room, which runs at 62 degrees and 95 % humidity. When the mushrooms are ready to harvest, we will harvest, sell, and deliver fresh mushrooms, whatever we have leftover, are freeze dried and made into pills or fed to the tilapia.

About Us

TMG Owner

We have an extreme passion for sustainability, hunting, and overall health. We have known each other our whole lives, but hunting is really what brought us together as friends. As we spent time together in the outdoors, we both quickly learned that we shared another passion, a passion for horticulture. So, we decided to combine our skills to develop, build, and implement sustainable growing systems that can generate produce all year long. We believe that food availability is going to get worse, thus we believe our country needs a better food production system. We believe in sustainability, in giving back and not just taking.
